DELL PROXOMITRON TUTORIAL Pt. 1

INTRODUCTION

Once every few months there are some really killer deals on Dell Outlet. $300 notebooks, $150 desktops, etc, etc... If you want to get in on the action you have two choices: Either sit at your computer all day clicking "refresh" and pray to God that you get lucky or WORK SMARTER.

Proxomitron is a tool that helps you work smarter. Using Proxomitron, you can automatically refresh and add items to your cart when certain conditions are met. Calling Proxomitron a "script" is a bit of a misnomer, it is actually a proxy server that runs on your local machine. You give Proxomitron certain filter rules, and it follows those rules to replace text in the sites you browse. Given the right set of rules, you can dominate Dell Outlet.

WARNING: Using the below methods to automate Dell Outlet may piss off Dell. If you run 100 browser sessions each refreshing with a period of .5 secs for weeks, you may just find your IP address banned from Dell Outlet. DellScripts.com is not responsible for any trouble you get yourself into by being retarded.

GETTING PROXOMITRON

Before you do anything else, go visit http://www.proxomitron.info and download ProxN45j.exe. You'll probably want to get the top file that includes the installer. Now install Proxomitron and start it up. The icon looks like a pyramid, if the app doesn't pop right up then check the taskbar.
