To get Proxomitron working FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
1) Go HERE and download ProxN45j.exe. Then install.

2) Start Proxomitron, and click "Web page". Click the "New" button under the Options area on the left.

3) Now we're going to start entering filters. You need to make FIVE SEPERATE FILTERS. After each filter, click ok, and then make a new filter. Copy and paste this text EXACTLY!!

FILTER1
-------
Filter Name: Filter1
URL Match: EMPTY ( don't enter ANYTHING!!)
Bounds Match: EMPTY
Matching Expression: <font * </s></font>
Replacement Text: EMPTY

FILTER2
-------
Filter Name: Filter2
URL Match: EMPTY
Bounds Match: <(input)*>
Matching Expression: \1type="checkbox"\2
Replacement Text: \1type="checkbox" CHECKED\2

FILTER3
-------
Filter Name: Filter3
URL Match: EMPTY
Bounds Match: EMPTY
Matching Expression: (<font color='DarkRed'>) $([#100:800])\2 $SET(ACTION=YES)
Replacement Text: \1 <b>$\2</b>

FILTER4
-------
Filter Name: Filter4
URL Match: EMPTY
Bounds Match: EMPTY
Matching Expression: <input \1 onClick=(\w)\2 \3 > $TST(ACTION=YES)
Replacement Text: <input \1 onLoad=\2 alert('Target price found check cart!!'); \3>

FILTER5
-------
Filter Name: Filter5
URL Match: EMPTY
Bounds Match: EMPTY
Matching Expression: <meta content="Dell US" name="author">
Replacement Text: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2">

4) To the left of all the filters you just made you'll see a check box. CHECK ALL FIVE FILTERS YOU JUST MADE!! Click OK to get back to the main menu on Proxomitron. Your proxy is now setup.

5) You now have to set up your browser to use your proxy. In IE go to Tools/InternetOptions/Connections and in Lan Settings click the "Proxy Server" box. For address enter "127.0.0.1" and for port enter "8080" and click ok. For other browsers it will be different.

6) Now you should be good to go. Go to outlet.dell.com and start browsing the inventory. The script is setup to find an ON SALE item of less than $800. If it finds one then it will add it to your cart automatically. YOU CAN CHANGE THE VALUE RANGE TO ADD BY CHANGING FILTER!! So if you only want computers over $600 then change "800" to "600"!!!

Also the server will modify the dell inventory page to refresh automtically every 2 seconds. So just open a bunch of windows, and wait a while... when a machine is found you'll get a pop up window.

AND THAT'S IT.

HINT FOR BEST RESULTS - search one category only so you don't get a bunch of crap in your cart. Go to outlet.dell.com and select INSPIRON 1150 only, that way you don't get stuck with some expensive XPS or something.

If you guys want to speed it up even more what you can do is

1) Turn the refresh down to like 1 sec.

2) Disable the alert box and just go to checkout.

3) Disable images on the inventory page using Proxomitron.

Pretty much all the info on this page is stolen from fatwallet, props to FW and all the dudes who figured Proxomitron out. I just slightly modified a few things to get this working.

IF you snag an awesome deal and you want to drop me a donation then that's cool. Just click the paypal donate button at the bottom. One more thing -- I'm not responsible for anything here, all info is provided at your own risk, etc etc. So if Dell sues you because you used all their bandwidth by running this on 100000000000 machines then IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!!! This page isn't affiliated with abc shuttle in any way, I'm just using my friend's web space + domain because he hasn't set up his site yet. Send comments + questions to shawnn@gmail.com.
